I see her. A peek inside.
A glimpse.
Her fire. Her passion. Her fight.
Eyes that drew you into the​ depth of an ocean.
What's inside?
Not a conformist.
Appreciated the aesthetic.
Fought for the underrepresented.
Independent. Fierce. Rebel. Courageous.
We were bookends. A life lived a 1/2 century with hers less than a quarter.
So much in between.
Seeking her place, her path but still wanting connection, to follow yet be heard.
I see you.
You are a peek inside.
I'm told I'm like my Dad.
I am, unapologetically.
So are you.
Like all of us. Connected.
You are my sister. You are a part of me.
